OCLC report: Information Format Trends: Content, Not Containers
This article makes me feel old. I have trouble reading long articles in digital form, but I refuse to print them out. I like the idea of saving paper and I realize I need to adapt to the trend.

This reminds me of what was said about the LIS program during orientation. They are here to teach us the underlying principles of information science, not specific skills for transient machinery or temporary processes.
Vaughan, J. Lied Library @ four years: technology never stands still.
I have been a patron of the Lied Library in the past year and they've done a great job making the library accessible to both students and the community. Guests are allowed to access the wireless network and I have never had a problem finding an open computer.
I agree with you, I hate printing long articles out too, but I don't think I am as environmentally friendly as you are! I do print on both sides of the paper though! It seemed that the Lied Library was more partial to students than patrons, after reading that if patrons were on the computer for a certain amount of time, and if a student needed to use a computer the patron would have to get off. It seemed that the library prioritized students' needs over patrons, but you seemed to have a positive experience!
