Computer Hardware
This was a nice overview, but I think I may need to look at the Discovering Computers textbook.
Moore’s Law
I didn't understand when Christie Nicholson of Instant Egghead said the folded piece of paper would be half the size of the Golden Gate Bridge. Her comment on the cell phone of the future being the size of a paper clip reminds me of the Saturday Night Live sketch where Will Ferrell pulls out a phone nearly that size. It is a ridiculous concept and I don't know if the average person really wants their technology to be miniature--faster and inexpensive yes, but not tiny.
Computer History Museum
Looking at their staff list, it was interesting to note that they have a "Documents Archivist", "Digital Media Archivist", "Media & Oral History Archivist" as well as a "Software Archivist." I wonder how much they work together to plan the records management of the museum.
